In general you can take your dog with you into the Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen. Of course your loyal friend has not to pay any admission fee. Please, never leave your dog in your car for several hours when you start to explore our four adventure lands! Please mention to pick up his “heaps”. Low-budget cleaning sets for dogs are available in our shops. Besides there are only few more rules to fellow:

In the area of the leisure park (leisure land and water land):
Always keep your dog on the lead!

In the monkey land:
Always keep your dog on the lead!
In addition it is not allowed to bring your dog with you into the open- air enclosures- not even kept on the lead!

In the animal land it is depending on your decision:
If you prefer to drive with your own car at your own risk through the animal Land (strictly forbidden with cabrios/ cars with soft roofs), you may take your dog with you. Please take care that he always stays within the car, even at theses stations where you may go out of the car to feed and pet animal!

If you prefer to enjoy the Serengeti- bus tour for security reasons it is not possible to take your dog with you. In this case it is equal how old or how big your dog is. He has to wait for your return in your own car at the parking place. The Serengeti- bus tour takes around one hour and the parking places are within the park area!

Please note, that for security reasons it is not allowed to take your dog with you during the jungle- safari tour, also. Please have a look at your dog in change or take him in this time (around 15 minutes) to your car.

A final hint:
If your dog maybe likes to have a dish of water, just tell it to our gastronomically staff. We enjoy to help you!
